There is a fourth adventure in progress, and it is a seasonal one. Francesca Lombardo is currently writing the Halloween edition of Beatrice and the London Bus.
We are not going to spoil the plot — largely because it is still being decided — but we can say that a Routemaster who is already unwilling to drive into buildings has strong feelings about being asked to drive past a cemetery after dark.
What we can tell you
- Same cast, same city, considerably more fog.
- Written for the same six-to-nine readers — spooky in the way a good costume is spooky, not in the way that keeps anyone awake.
- Mortisia has more to do, and she is enjoying it.
