The Story:
Beatrice has a Dream … she wants to be a bus driver, so she can drive away from everything she doesn’t like. At school she’s bullied and has no friends. At home her brother calls her Annoying, Ugly Fly, and her parents think she has too much imagination. Beatrice writes a long list of dreams. Another dream is about meeting a ‘talking London Bus’. When she makes a new friend at school called Mark, things change for the better. He gives her a special birthday gift: a model of an ancient London Bus – a Routemaster Bus she once saw in a shop window. Beatrice is thrilled…..
